Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA)
SIPGA offers funding to students at the Bachelor's or Master's degree level who are keen to undertake short-term research attachments at A*STAR, lasting between 2 to 6 months in Singapore. This opportunity allows students to explore novel research experiences and benefit from our state-of-the-art facilities.

For current undergraduate and master’s students who wish to pursue a Full-Time PhD in Singapore
Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)
SINGA is a prestigious collaboration between A*STAR, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Singapore Management University (SMU). This award supports students interested in pursuing a full-time PhD in Singapore. Under SINGA, students will receive supervision from distinguished and world-renowned researchers from these institutions, leading to the award of a PhD degree by either NTU, NUS, SUTD, or SMU.

A*STAR Research Attachment Programme (ARAP)
ARAP aims to foster research collaboration between A*STAR research groups and overseas universities, creating synergies and providing your PhD students with access to resources and expertise from both sides. PhD students matriculated at your university can undertake a fully funded 1 to 2-year attachment at an A*STAR research institute, facilitating cross-border knowledge exchange.
